There is a small shrine located in the pond where the ashes of the Buddha, as well as the dragon goddess Zennyo Ryūō, are enshrined. These were enshrined here as acts to put an end to a drought that plagued the region. The Danjo Garan Sacred Temple Complex was built in 1771.
