Okuno-in Cemetery
Okuno-in is considered one of the holiest sites in Koyasan, and it is said that is here that Kobo Daishi waits in eternal prayer welcoming all who come to visit. This massive graveyard spans roughly 1.9 km, and has over 20,000 graves dating over 1,200 years ago.
